My substance use began when I was very young. My father gave me my first shot of meth and it spiraled from there

I stepped into recovery because I wanted a better life. I don't want my grandkids seeing what my kids saw growing up. I want to break the cycle of substance use in my family.

Before I found recovery my life was defined by chaos.

Now that I have found a better life in recovery, my life is stable and fun. Having support and people that are always there no matter what is one of the greatest benefits of recovery. I love that I now have a stable environment for my kids and family. You can have all of these benefits too if you take the step to find recovery.
