Tomorrow will be 1 year out of prison for me and a lot of people may say so what? But it really is a big deal to me because I have never made it this far before.

It has not always been the easiest. The two most important things I have learned is, I could not have done this without Jesus Christ in my life and without the friends that I have that I choose to call family, because that is what they are to me.

I know I haven't made the smartest decisions all the time but they never gave up on me and always pushed me forward and said "we are not going to give up on you so don't give up on yourself."

I am at a point in my life now that I don't believe I could be happier. I have Jesus Christ, my family, a wonderful woman that is just amazing, and a job that is a dream job to me at SRCC, I am on my way to become Certified Peer Specialist and I am clean and sober for 7 months. I have people that believe in me.

THANKS TO EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU! I WOULDN'T BE WHERE I AM WITHOUT YOU!. I love you even though I don't always show it.
